2 Cor 4:16-18 Therefore we don't faint. but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory, while we don't look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. Jesus not only suffered on the cross

He suffered until He died there. If another religion did the same in the United States as is happening right now elsewhere, what would I do?

I discovered shockingly, how to gain great faith. I must be willing to crucify my flesh. Current trends indicate Christianity, now weakish from seminary to Sunday school and number one since Jesus died and rose again, will very soon be number two. I turned to Psalms. I read 103 for comfort.

The Devil Goes to Church Too

The devil does not mount any significant attacks on the barrooms. Everyone is already asleep there. No, the devil goes to church halls to quiet them down so as to soften the power of Jesus, limiting and subduing involvement with His power.

Key words are Love & Wait!

Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you. He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for Him! Isaiah 30:18

My eternal God is always present tense. And Isaiah in my experience is the more often quoted books in the Old Testament. I love Isaiah! Reading in Isaiah is a great comfort.

Persistence Bedrock of Faith for Healing

Holy Father I speak on the authority, the instruction and with the permission of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. I thank You and praise You for Jesus on the Cross providing me and on all those who accept it with eternal life and for healing me with His stripes that He bore for me.

I thank you for my belief in your healing all the hurting people I read about and I accept and receive your healing provided on the Cross, not for mine or their sakes only, but that you will be magnified and glorified in their healing. I believe Your promises and Your word will not return to You void. I thank You that in the night You will comfort all of us who believe with the assurance our future will be more wonderful than the future we could not conceive of in the womb.

I believe in Your promises no matter how long I believe, no matter how long I wait, no matter what. I hold onto to the hem of Jesus' garment and persist as long as it takes, no matter how long. I do not go by any fears or my feelings, but by Your promises that are the same today as they were yesterday and forever. Praise Your Holy Name.

If any prayer is unanswered there is be considered a possible believer's lack of persistence, and a weak faith is stopped. Since all good things come down from the Father of Lights and it is always His will that we be healed, we look for lack not in God, but in ourselves.

Two things God did for me. . .

This is my witness, that the first was spiritual, this is eternal life. The second was healing my body. Both were accomplished on the Cross. This is what God did for me for my benefit so that I would exist and continue to exist with Him. He didn't sacrifice His Son for Himself but for me and everyone in the world individually. And we must individually receive it. Although some may talk as if it has, I do not know of any verse in the Bible to make me think it has anything whatever to do with any kind of corporate group salvation as has been advocated in some quarters.

He told me to deal with the beam in my eye and not anyone elses. The Cross was all about me. It was all about me, as well as others which is their business between them and the Holy Spirit. It, is a pronoun, and refers to the antecedent noun, the spiritiual gift of eternal life by the cross and secondly by His stripes my body was healed. This was done some time ago. But this has to be received by me. I receive it through faith and by believing that through God's power Jesus did this. I have to believe it.

The healing power was provided a long time ago on the cross and I have to receive it through faith and by my belief now. I do not receive it through Jesus' belief, but through my belief. It does not matter if I agree with it, go along with it, or acknowledge it, I have to believe deep down in my spirit through faith. How do I do that? How do I get faith? I read the Bible and reread the Bible and through hearing His promises faith grows within me. I know this is how it is done because the Holy Spirit tells me this in the Bible.

Not everyone's faith is the same strength. Some have stronger faith than others. Jesus told the disciples that some healing requires more faith than others. He told them that to cast some devils out requires much prayer and fasting, which is what He had. We can accomplish even greater things than Jesus did if we believe, even to moving mountains. All these things Jesus said and the Holy Spirit told them to me in writing, in the Bible.

I witness to these things but I do not persuade or convince anyone because convicting the spirit within a person is the job of the Holy Spirit, not mine. I am only told to witness. As a slave of Christ I endeavor to do what I am told. Others deal with their own spirit and whatever spirits that are within them.

And why does God tell me to witness? For the same reason I am to forgive. For my own benefit, that is the first and number one reason why.
