Going all in....

A full faith verse

Bible books are the oldest books, and one book among them is the oldest book among the oldest books in the Bible. In the book of Job, Job says of his troubles though He slay me yet will I hope in Him (Job 13:15). I call this one of my "no matter what" versesThis is one of those verses where I draw full faith, where I am all in. This is where energy comes from, emotion. Energy divided by motion equals emotion. Without emotion, without passion, there is no energy to translate the intellect into being. This is how, I believe, a thought becomes a thing.

Death for the body is

Life eternal for the spirit

Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

I always wondered why we should go on the cross, after all Jesus did that for us. It seemed a little presumptuous for us to do the same, since it was He who went on the cross for eternal life and forgiveness of our sins, not us.

However. for myself, this was never a stumbling block. I could go either way because for me, rejecting the body meant acceptance of the spirit. This is being glorified in the spirit, from my view, where in my precious circle I am the only one left in the body. On the other hand, it might be liberating to suffer in the body as embracing the spirit.
