Is Figuratively Enough?

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:4-3

This Psalm recalls to my mind Jesus' comment that with enough faith anyone of us could throw mountains into the sea. This Psalm is the focal point of  Jesus reference. And it was my view that Jesus was not speaking figuratively but actually meant with enough faith it could be really spoken and happen for anyone with enough faith. Matt 21:21

There is my key word, existence, which is the Great I am. This is the name God told Moses that He wanted to be "calleds as a memorial into all generations," Exodus 3:14-15

Ecclesiastes 7:24 Far off is true existence, and very deep; who may have knowledge of it?

Predigital the more spiritual outlook

Translations up until now concentrated on each individual word definition. This more micro method changed the focus from the earlier spiritual outlook of older times toward a clearly digitally deadening outlook.

Now we have Jesus Calling translating entire phrases and expanding the spiritual view which seems to me going back in the other direction toward the more spiritual.

There are those who think individual words more important to the true meaning but Hebrew 11 in the older King James version indicates to my view otherwise.

As time rolls on...

Notice how differently recent translations soften their tongue under the weight of time. The newer translation authority weakens down the older King James word power. Tells me older translators had a stronger belief. Expect to comment more later.
